Mental Health and Psychosocial Support (MHPSS)
Mental health is often the silent crisis in many communities. At RHD, we address this head-on by offering mental health awareness campaigns, peer counseling, and referral services to vulnerable individuals and families.
We focus on groups most at risk of social exclusion—PLWHD, sex workers, and survivors of trauma—who often face discrimination and isolation. Our programs provide safe spaces, group therapy sessions, and community champions who break stigma and encourage open dialogue.
Through donor support, we aim to scale community-based mental health care models, train local counselors, and integrate psychosocial support into schools and youth programs. By investing in mental health, you help restore dignity, reduce stigma, and empower communities to thrive holistically.
