We fight for health without stigma. From tackling HIV/AIDS, TB, and malaria to advocating for sexual and reproductive health rights, we ensure no one is left behind among the marginalized groups—including PWDs, sex workers, and LGBTQ+ communities with stigma-free, rights-based approaches. We achieve this through health awareness campaigns, nutrition support programs, mental health services, and disease prevention initiatives. Our programs challenge discrimination in healthcare settings while advocating for inclusive policies and laws. By pairing advocacy with community-led health education and services, we save lives and restore dignity.
Sexual and Reproductive Health & Rights (SRHR) for All
Every individual deserves the right to make informed decisions about their health and bodies. Through this sub-program, RHD advances sexual and reproductive health rights (SRHR) by providing access to accurate information, services, and advocacy.
We run youth-friendly clinics, school-based awareness programs, and safe spaces for young women to learn about menstrual health, contraception, and maternal care. For marginalized groups—such as PLWHIV/AIDS, young mothers, and survivors of gender-based violence—we provide tailored services and link them to psychosocial and legal support.
Adolescent and youth participation is critical to improving sexual and reproductive health outcomes and realizing global initiatives such as Family Planning in particular, goals and commitments that relate specifically to adolescent and youth sexual and reproductive health (AYSRH). This contributes to building sexual and reproductive health and rights champions among policymakers, leaders, organizations, and individuals at national, district, and community levels through knowledge sharing, and evidence-building to meet youth contraceptive needs.
Target groups are:
Adolescents and Youth 12-24 years, Youth of 25-37 years, Adults of 37-55 years, Female and males of child bearing age, Persons with disability, MSM groups, LGBTI groups.
Your contribution can directly support educational campaigns, provision of sanitary products, mobile health outreaches, and training healthcare workers on rights-based service delivery.
RESOURCE HUB FOR DEVELOPMENT (RHD) is a registered national, non-governmental, non-profit, non religious, non-political, humanitarian and development Organization.
Something pretty incredible happens when we get intentional about serving through volunteering. Through voluntary service, we can multiply our talents and abilities for even greater potential than we can even imagine.
